in the House. DAP Bukit Bintang member Fong Kui Lun said unit owners of Le
Chateau condominium had failed to obtain strata titles despite having paid
quit rent to its developer. "I urge the Kuala Lumpur Land and Mines
Department to act against the developer." He said the condominium received
its certificate of fitness (CF) in 1999, and the developer should have been
able to apply for the strata title, six months after the CF was issued. Fong
also called on the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry to take
action.
