SITIAWAN, Khamis - Mulai esok semua pemaju perumahan boleh mendapatkan Sijil Layak Menduduki (CF) dalam masa kira-kira dua minggu berikutan penggubalan Undang-Undang Kecil Bangunan Seragam 1984. Menteri Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan, Datuk Dr Ting Chew Peh, berkata pemaju perumahan boleh mendapatkan CF lebih cepat berikutan pihak berkuasa tempatan perlu meluluskan permohonan dalam masa dua minggu dari tarikh permohonan diterima.

Kuala Lumpur, Fri - There was a 554 per cent increase in the number of complaints against housing developers in 1998 compared with the previous year, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Dr Ting Chew Peh said today.

THE Housing and Local Government Ministry received a total of 1,135 complaints from property buyers last year, an increase of 54 per cent from the 737 it received in 1997. Among others, its minister Datuk Dr Ting Chew Peh attributed the rise to the frequent inspections made by the ministry's Enforcement Division to get feedback from the buyers.
