diperlukan di Selangor bagi menampung keperluan penduduk yang semakin
bertambah berikutan penghijrahan penduduk dari negeri lain. Ahli Majlis
Mesyuarat Kerajaan Selangor, Datuk Ch'ng Toh Eng, berkata ada 985,000 unit
rumah dibina di negeri itu sehingga kini tetapi pasaran dijangka masih luas.

kira-kira 76,000 unit rumah mampu milik di bawah Skim Tabung Pusingan
Perumahan Kos Rendah di seluruh negara. Pengerusinya, Md Yusof Hussin,
berkata daripada jumlah itu, 24,000 unit adalah rumah kos rendah, 9,000 unit
kos sederhana rendah, 26,000 unit rumah kos sederhana dan 17,000 unit rumah
