          Selangor's stratified struggle

12/08/2006 NST By G. Umakanthan THE Selangor State Governement is irked. It's been more than a year since it
pioneered the establishment of "Pre-Management Corporations" or Pre-MCs to
manage the State's stratified projects but till to date, it can only boast
of one functioning body - that of an apartment project in Subang Jaya's USJ1
locale. Why the slow movement, despite all the encouragement provided by the
State housing authority, the Lembaga Perumahan dan Hartanah Selangor (LPHS)?

Estate and Housing Developers Association claims only two per cent of
housing projects come under this category.
