   Residents of Pangsapuri Jaya , Taman TTDI Jaya in Section U2 of Shah Alam are facing a termite problem which has damaged door frames and parquet floors of several apartments, especially in Block 2B . 

2. Pembeli gelisah rumah lewat disiapkan 11/06/2002 BH
   SERDANG, Isnin - Seramai 1,369 pembeli unit kedai apartmen dan pangsapuri kos sederhana di Seksyen 5, Serdang Perdana dekat sini, berharap projek pembangunan yang terbengkalai sejak November lalu, dapat diteruskan semula, secepat mungkin. Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (Adun) Seri Kembangan, Datuk Liew Yuen Keong, berkata projek berkenaan terpaksa ditangguhkan berikutan syarikat induk pemaju, Hiap Aik Construction Bhd menghadapi masalah kewangan, menyebabkan projek itu terpaksa diambil alih oleh Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Bhd (Danaharta) iaitu agensi kerajaan yang bertanggungjawab mengurus aset bermasalah.

3. Malaysia set to adopt Australia's strata title laws 12/06/2002 Utusan Online
   MELBOURNE June 11 - The Malaysian government will be urged to adopt Australia's strata title model for the well-being of tenants, its Minister of Land and Co-operative Development, Tan Sri Kasitah Gaddam said today.

4. Seeking modern approach on issuing strata titles 14/06/2002 NST
   SUBANG JAYA, Thurs. - The Land and Co-operative Development Ministry may consider adopting a different approach in issuing strata titles, a move that will see some changes in the provisions of the Strata Titles Act 1985. Minister Tan Sri Kasitah Gaddam said this "modern approach" would involve the issuance of strata titles without waiting for the completion of the buildings.

5. Getting Serdang Perdana project revived 17/06/2002 NST-CITY
   PURCHASERS of houses and shop apartments in Section 5 Serdang Perdana, in Selangor, want work on the stalled project to resume immediately. Seri Kembangan State Assemblyman Datuk Liew Yuen Keong said the project had been delayed since November following financial problems faced by its developer's parent company, Hiap Aik Construction Bhd.

   The basement car park of an apartment project near the Penang Hill railway station has been converted into a public parking area although the project has yet to be issued with certificate of fitness (CF).

7. Sentul residents told not to fall for `middleman' scam 18/06/2002 NST-CITY
   SENTUL residents and members of the public who are keen on buying low-cost apartments at Projek Perumahan Rakyat in Pekan Batu, Sentul in Kuala Lumpur have been told not to pay certain individuals who claim to have "ways" of getting their applications approved. Batu MP Ng Lip Yong said his office had received five complaints on the matter so far.

   THE Minister for Housing and Local Government has the interests of house buyers at heart. He advised house buyers not to accept keys to their properties which were completed without water and electricity supply (NST, May 20).

10. Taman Lingakaran Nur project revived 20/06/2002  NST-CITY
    AFTER waiting for 12 years, 250 house buyers of Taman Lingkaran Nur, Phase 1, in Batu 12, Cheras, Hulu Langat are hopeful again that they will finally get their homes. The project, which was abandoned in 1993, has been revived in a rescue scheme being carried out by Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB).

11. RM25m rescue package to revive project 20/06/2002 The Star
    A turnkey contractor is ready to inject RM1mil to kick start efforts to revive Pangsapuri Widuri in Butterworth, which has been abandoned for nearly three years. Harta Intan Construction Sdn Bhd director Amir Hussain Abdul Majid said the total cost of the rescue package was estimated at RM25mil, provided all house buyers agreed not to claim late delivery charges from the developer, Diamond Crest Sdn Bhd.

12. Cheras Perdana apartments to get CF after six-year wait 20/06/2002  NST-CITY
    AFTER waiting for six years, owners of the 332 units at Cheras Perdana Apartment in Cheras, Selangor will finally be getting the Certificate of Fitness for their units. The CFs will issued by the Kajang Municipal Council next month.

    AMPANG: Penduduk Telipot Seksyen BS9, Bukit Sentosa 3, Rawang kecewa dengan sikap pemaju yang memberi Sijil Kelayakan Menduduki (CF) tetapi tidak menyediakan kemudahan asas. Sehubungan itu, kira-kira 60 penduduk berkumpul dihadapan pejabat pemaju perumahan di Menara Maxisegar, Ampang, pagi semalam, bagi menyatakan perasaan tidak puas hati dengan tindakan pemaju itu.

    BRISDALE Holdings Bhd, syarikat hartanah menjangka dapat menyerahkan sejumlah 1,200 unit hartanah di projek Bandar Armada Putra di Pulau Indah bernilai lebih RM70 juta kepada pembeli mulai September ini. Pengerusinya, Datuk Zabir Bajuri, berkata daripada jumlah itu, 500 unit adalah pangsapuri kos rendah Casuarina, 500 pangsapuri kedai Taipan, dan 200 unit lagi rumah teres dua tingkat Acacia.

Pengarah Eksekutifnya, Mohd Razeek Hussain, berkata anak syarikatnya, Lembah Beringin Sdn Bhd, pemaju projek itu akan menyambung semula kerja membina 1,000 unit rumah projek itu.

    AN abandoned condominium project in Brickfields has become a haven for dadah addicts, causing concern to residents in the area. Located at Jalan Tun Sambanthan 1, the 249-unit Sri Impian Condominium project was abandoned two years ago.
