KOTA KINABALU, Thurs. - A Building Maintenance and Services Bill which will allow buyers of apartments to determine the maintenance costs of their premises will be tabled in Parliament in September. Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk M. Kayveas said today the Bill was being introduced following complaints of excessive maintenance costs imposed by housing developers.

The buyers met officials of the Consumers Association of Subang and Shah Alam, Selangor (Cassa) last Saturday to request further action by the association to protect their rights and interests in the matter.
