Klang: The Selangor government will help Syarikat Perumahan Negara Bhd to speed up the revival of 86 abandoned housing projects in the state. The projects, most of which are in Klang, Kajang and Petaling Jaya, were abandoned by their contractors 15 to 20 years ago. "We no longer want to see the buyers suffer," said state executive councillor for housing Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Ahmad Dahlan after handing over keys to the buyers of the Pangsapuri Permai apartments here recently. The State has set a target of 2005 for the completion of the projects.
