 HINGGA akhir 1999, sebanyak 493 projek perumahan swasta dikesan terbengkalai.

    issued Press statements recently giving assurance to house-buyers that action

    possession of houses within the time frame stipulated in the sale and purchase 
    agreement or fail to pay compensation for late delivery of completed houses. 
    I am a pensioner who booked a three-room apartment in a five-storey block somewhere 
    in the Subang area just before the beginning of the economic slowdown in the 
    year 1997.

    kerana kelewatan projek berkenaan," katanya. * PENGARAH Jabatan Kemasyarakatan 
    Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA), Normala Mohd Radzi, berkata hasil siasatan 
    mendapati projek perumahan itu bukan projek terbengkalai. Bagaimanapun, majlis 
    tidak boleh mengeluarkan sijil kelayakan menduduki bangunan (CF) kepada pemaju 
    projek kerana mereka belum memohon CF bagi unit apartmen itu. "Bagaimanapun, 
    pembeli boleh mendesak pemaju untuk mempercepatkan proses permohonan CF dari 
    MBSA bagi membolehkan pembeli menduduki unit apartmen itu dengan segera," katanya.

 YTL Corporation Bhd`s property arm Taiping Consolidated Bhd expects to launch 
    the stalled RM1.3 billion Sentul Raya mixed development project in Kuala Lumpur 
    in February or March. YTL Corp managing director Tan Sri Francis Yeoh Sock Ping 
    said the group, which became the majority shareholder of Taiping Consolidated 
    whose subsidiary initiated the project, resumed work on it last May.
