SPNB alert on fake housing agent

SYARIKAT Perumahan Negara Bhd (SPNB) has not appointed anyone for the sale of houses in its affordable housing project in Taman Lahat Indah, Ipoh, to orphans, single mothers, senior citizens and the poor.

SPNB managing director Datuk Mohd Amin Mohd Salleh said in a statement that there have been complaints
from the residents about an individual using the name of the company and several government agencies to sell the houses.

The individual is also said to have accepted downpayments for the houses, Mohd Amin said, urging those have
dealt with the individual to report to the police.
