E-tanah not working so well

IT has been almost one year since the land office in Penang was computerised under the code-name “e-tanah”.

Until today, the software remains a problem where issuance of grants for transfer of ownership and receipts for payment of quit rent still cannot be done.

According to a reliable source, the software contractor is from Kuala Lumpur. Every time there is a complaint, they will be asked to contact their subcontractor in Penang.

The service rendered by the subcontractor is more like playing hide and seek. It is not satisfactory at all, and the public are suffering.

Those responsible, please look into this seriously.
