30/01/2008 The Star

PETALING JAYA: The body of a 36-year-old lorry driver who went missing while fishing at a water-filled basement car park of an uncompleted building in Jalan USJ 1, Subang Jaya, on Saturday, has been recovered.

The body of Jerry Rambayan, from Kota Merudu, Sabah, was found stuck under a beam of the building’s second basement car park at 3.40pm yesterday.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department deputy operations commander Aswadi Ismail said a team of divers retrieved the body at 5.30pm.

The operation to find Jerry’s body went into the third day yesterday after he was reported to have gone missing while shooting for fish at the spot on Saturday night.

His body was sent to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre for a post-mortem.
