I LIVE in a Klang suburb and subscribe to the guard services that patrol my
area. These guards have become more gangster-like by the day.
Recently when I tried to stop their services, they became brash and retorted
with a slightly laced warning that my house could be a target.
What am I to do? I fear that we have created a monster that we may never be
able to get rid of. They have also erected a guardhouse that covers half the
road and placed a bar such that only half a road is available for use.
Is this legal? We have regular police car patrols but they did not do
anything. I suppose they think it's all right to block half the road.
I implore those responsible to come and see for themselves. There was almost
an accident as two cars passed each other at this checkpoint.
I say checkpoint, but they don’t really stop any cars. They just sit inside
the guardhouse and any car can just pass through. Help!
