JOHOR BARU: After a decade of waiting, the Johor Baru South police quarters
at Bukit Cagar here was finally completed and officially handed over to the
police.
The almost abandoned project, which was once criticised by Prime Minister
Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi for the delay, was completed in March.
The RM29 million quarters has been occupied by Johor Baru South district
police and personnel.
In a ceremony yesterday, project developer, Tekun Raya Sdn Bhd handed over
the property to the Internal Security Ministry.
