SEREMBAN: Mont Jade, a new gated housing scheme in the heart of Seremban,
has potential to become the most sought-after address among expatriates
working here but living in Kuala Lumpur.
Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said some of the
expatriates had indicated that they would prefer to stay here if there was
adequate housing with security.
Mont Jade, developed by Aspect Potential Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary
of OSK Property Holdings Bhd, is about 45 minites from Kuala Lumpur City
Centre.
OSK executive chairman Datuk Nik Mohamed Din Nik Yusoff said Aspect
Potential had revived a 15-year-old abandoned project and turned it into an
exclusive, private, secured and gated one to meet the booming demand for
upmarket development.
He said there would be 221 freehold bungalows with a starting price of
RM455,000, and a 5% discount offered to bumiputras.
“Purchasers can choose from five designs with built-up areas of 2,096 to
4,346 sq ft,” Nik Din said.
He said limited number of units offering a bigger built-up area of 5,959 sq
ft was also being offered.
He said the project would be undertaken in three phases, with 66 units in
the first phase, 70 in the second and the rest in the final phase.
“We expect to complete construction within five years. We are confident of
encouraging support from the people in Seremban,” he said, adding that the
company was investing RM125mil in the project.
