Developer sued for RM4.6m

KOTA KINABALU: Fifty-two house buyers are suing a developer for RM4.64 million for failing to deliver their houses on time and repairing defects.

The plaintiffs, who bought the houses in Taman Bukit Saujana, filed a writ of summons against Yusen Jaya Sdn Bhd at the High Court registry here yesterday.

They are seeking damages under the Sales and Purchase Agreement, damages for negligence, breach of contract, distress and inconvenience.

They are also seeking damages for loss of amenity, value of their homes and maintenance costs for their houses.
