Developer: We have complied
with all the rules

KUALA LUMPUR: The developer of a housing project at Jalan Wangsa 58 in Bukit
Antarabangsa; Ulu Klang, says they have fully complied with the Selangor
Government’s regulations on hillside development.
As such, their project, which comprises 34 semi-detached and terrace houses,
should not be a cause for concern.
A spokesman for PJD Paragon Sdn Bhd said the project would involve minimum
hill cutting.
We are rectifying erosion caused by a previous abandoned project. We have
been adhering to all conditions imposed by the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council
(MPAJ) and Selangor Government pertaining to hillside development and the
environment," he said.
He said the company has apologized to residents for not putting up a
signboard to indicate the project, A proper signboard will be erected soon,
he added.
MPAJ public relations officer Norhayati Ahmad confirmed that the project has
the local council's approval. She said the project is expected to be ready
by next year.
On Wednesday, The Malay Mail reported that Bukit Antarabangsa residents were
concerned about the housing project because it did not have a signboard.
They feared it was an illegal" scheme, which could affect the stability of
the hill slopes. |
