Selangor government will issue
a list of selected housing developers

Klang - The Selangor State Government will issue a list of selected housing
developers for the benefit of house buyers to avoid them getting caught in
problems such as abandoned housing projects.
Menteri Besar, Dato' Seri Dr. Mohamad Khir Toyo says this was one of the
efforts taken by the State Government to help potential house buyers from
being swindled by unscrupulous developers.
In Selangor alone, there were 40 such abandoned projects, in which 30 of
them have being taken over by the State Government while 10 others have
already been completed.
Speaking to reporters after presenting keys for low cost flats to 319
squatter families in Meru, Klang, Dato' Seri Dr. Khir said, the State
Government will change the term "low cost flats" to "apartments" to give it
a better image.
