No
compromising on quality, says condo developer
The Star 07/01/2005
THE developers of the Sri Putramas Towers condominium in Sri
Hartamas clarified
that the residents there have not been shortchanged on the quality
of work.A small group of apartment buyers had claimed that they had been
shortchanged
and they did not like what they saw especially considering that
their units cost
RM200,000 each.
Mayland Developments Sdn Bhd executive director Eva Hui said buyers
were actually
paying a small sum considering what they were getting in exchange.
Hui said as reputed developers which had prime properties in and
around the Klang
Valley, the company did not believe in compromising on quality.
"As far as Putramas Towers is concerned, buyers are getting more
than they have
paid for.
"There are covered car parks, a clubhouse, game facilities and much
more. Normally,
these facilities are only provided in upmarket properties," said Hui.
She said as developers, the company had done its best and delivered
the properties
as specified in the Sales and Purchase Agreement.
"Of course, there will be a small group of dissatisfied buyers and
we are attending to
their grouses," added Hui.
She said buyers were fortunate they bought condominium units of their
choice in a
prime location like Sri Hartamas for just between RM170,000 and
RM200,000.
Hui was commenting on a report in the Star Metro onNov 25, where a
group of
condominium buyers complained about shoddy work after they viewed
their apartments
in late October. |
