Don't
pass burden of fees to residents
The Star
5/6/2004
I agree with S.A. Lee, whose letter appeared in the Star Metro on
May 25.
Being a resident of Bandar Bukit Tinggi, I, too, am facing parking
charges implemented since May 5. I have to fork out 50sen per hour
to park my car outside my own apartment.
I urge the Klang Municipal Council to consider the plight of
residents and waive the parking charges as the apartments are
located above the shops. The developer and Labur Bina Sdn Bhd must
have considered all these when developing this new township and
should not just pass the burden to us.
Secondly, the residents of Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2, issued CF more
than a year ago, have so far not been given telephone lines.
Malaysia is promoting IT and we have, around the corner from MSC, a
township that has been waiting for more than a year for cables and
infrastructure to access IT services.
It is time the Housing and Local Government look seriously into
this.
Resident,
Klang. |
