Solution is to buy completed houses
The Star 09/09/2003
IT SEEMS that despite the Government’s apparent intention to help long-suffering house-buyers, the developers are still getting
the upper hand and laughing all the way to the bank (and in some cases from the court-house).
Even when house-buyers know they have a solid case and are sure to win in court, many cannot afford the cost of a court case.
If anybody wants to have a look at the variety of problems faced by house-buyers please go to the HBA website www.hba.org.my.
I think the only way out of this is for us to buy only completed houses under the build-then-sell concept. Of course the
Government will not support this since it is against the interest of most developers.
However, if we house buyers refuse to pay for a dream in the sky, the industry will have no choice but to comply.
