KUALA LUMPUR: Take advantage of the waiver of stamp duty for the
purchase of homes and scout for new properties at the Home Ownership
Campaign 2002.
More than 60 developers would be taking part, showcasing a variety of
housing projects located in and around the Klang Valley.
The developers include Sunway City Bhd, Land & General Bhd, Tanming
Bhd, World Wide Holdings Bhd, Shah Alam 2 Sdn Bhd and MRCB Utama Sdn Bhd.
Organised by real estate company, SK Brothers Realty (SKB), with the
support of leading developers and local banks, HOC 2002 will be on from
April 18-21 at Putra World Trade Centre.
Organising chairman Charlie Chan said there would be more than 100
booths at the exhibition taken up by the developers, banks and other home
related companies.
We also have a special booth for individuals who would like to sell
off their houses including commercial properties, he said at the
launching of the campaign by Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister
Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui yesterday.
Chan said the exhibition, which would be open from 10am to 10pm, would
also showcase industrial and commercial properties.
In fact, the Bumiputra Retailers Vision Project Scheme, involving
6,000 future armed forces retirees, will need 5,000 commercial properties
for its entrepreneurial projects, he said.
In conjunction with the
campaign, the House Buyers Association would also participate in the
exhibition to assist house buyers in protecting their rights.
It would also be selling a
House Buyers Guide at RM5 each, a handy manual for first time house buyer. |
