Certificates of Fitness (CFs) for Pangsapuri Perdana apartments in Section 13, Shah Alam was issued by the Shah
Alam City Council (MBSA) last December but there's no water and power supply yet.
One of the buyers, Kazren Jusri Karim, said all except one of the owners had decided not to move into their new
apartments until water and power supply was connected.
"We are not sure how long we will have to wait," he said. The apartment blocks are all empty except for one unit
in Block 3. The occupant's home is lighted only at night with the use of a mobile generator. He depends on his friends, who live nearly, for
water.
The occupant, who declined to be named, said he had to move out of his home as he had already sold his house.
Buyers who want to renovate their apartments before moving in have to pay extra to contractors, who have to work with their own generators.
Some of the buyers have moved their belongings into the apartments while waiting to move in. Kazren said some of
the buyers who were currently renting houses had to pay extra to service their bank loans and pay rental.
The state of the swimming pool and underground car park in Block Four and unkempt gardens also indicate poor
maintenance.
The buyers are worried about their health as the car park has become a mosquito breeding ground. A buyer, Kamril
Juraide Abdul Karim, said the car park had been "full of water since we were given our keys last December." |
